Warwickshire's Centenary Way was established by the Council in 1989 to celebrate its 100th anniversary and was first walked by our Group in 1994-1996. It starts at Kingsbury Water Park and finishes at the village of Upper Quinton. In 2008, we were asked to update the standard of waymarking on the long distance path and to report the need for any improvements to bridges, stiles, etc.. To complete this task we engaged the help of other RA groups in the Warwickshire Area and split the task accordingly. We finally completed all the necessary waymarking and reporting in 2010, and after revisiting various sections, have established that the Council have actively responded to our suggestions.
We decided to include the 100 mile long distance path in the programme again in 2013, commencing in September.
