City of Birmingham Ramblers is the only group in the Warwickshire Area which has a full programme of weekly Sunday walks by coach (catering for all abilities), as well as fortnightly Wednesday walks and also monthly Saturday walks for the general public. Not forgetting our summer and autumn Ridges and Tops walks for the more adventurous, our walking weekends away and biennial holidays abroad. Come and give us a try.

Walk leaders needed for future programmes

In order to assist our forward planning and ensure continuity in our future programmes, we would like to encourage more members to volunteer to lead walks.

Even if you have never led a walk before, training can be paid for by the group.

Navigation and Walk Leading courses

Derek Jones offers training in navigation and walk leading for prospective walk leaders. As always, the committee will re-imburse the cost of the Bronze Level training for anyone who subsequently leads at least one walk for the group. See details.
